We have a couple of important fulfillment updates to share today.
๐ฆ Fulfillment Is Almost Complete!
Great news! Almost all Boba Mahjong backer rewards have now been fulfilled! ๐
The only remaining pledges are a small number going to special locations and addresses that require me to ship them personally from Los Angeles. Iโm expecting to receive the remaining games and other products next week, and if everything arrives as planned, I hope to pack and ship all of these remaining pledges within the same week.
Weโre almost at the finish line! Thank you so much for your patience throughout production and fulfillment.
๐ง Missing Active Player Token โ Grande All-In Backers
Unfortunately, we discovered a fulfillment mistake affecting some Boba Mahjong Grande All-In backers. The Active Player Token, which is included with the All-In pledge, was accidentally left out of some packages. We sincerely apologize for the mistake.
If you are affected, we have sent you an email with more information. Please look for an email from:

We will be shipping the missing Active Player Tokens separately, so there is nothing you need to do to receive yours.
Since we will already be sending another package to affected backers, the email also includes a FREE SHIPPING promo code for our Boba Mahjong online store. If there is a game, expansion, enamel pin, or other item you would like to purchase, you can use the promo code and we will ship your order together with your Active Player Token at no additional shipping cost.
Of course, no purchase is necessary. Everyone affected will receive their missing Active Player Token regardless.

Fulfillment Update โ 25% Shipped!

Hi everyone!
Great news! Boba Mahjong fulfillment has officially begun! ๐
So far, we have already fulfilled approximately 25% of all pledges, and the first packages are making their way to backers. Itโs incredibly exciting to finally reach this stage after all the development, production, and waiting!
The Rest Begins Next Week
Starting next week, our fulfillment partner will begin processing and shipping the remaining pledges. Because there are many packages to prepare, not everyone will receive a shipping notification at the same time, so please donโt worry if you see other backers receiving their games before yours ships.
There are a couple of exceptions for backers in Hawaii and certain special U.S. addresses. For these pledges, I first need to receive the games and other goodies here in Los Angeles, and I will personally pack and ship them to you. This may take a little longer, but Iโll make sure they get on their way as soon as everything arrives.

Production Update โ Almost There!

Hi everyone!
I have some exciting news to share. Boba Mahjong Grande is almost ready! ๐
The games are currently wrapping up production, and everything is looking great. If everything continues on schedule, the finished games should ship to our fulfillment warehouse next week.
Once the games arrive and are processed by our fulfillment partner, we expect to begin shipping rewards to backers in about two weeks. It has been a long journey from design to production, and we're finally reaching the finish line!
As soon as fulfillment begins, I'll post another update with more details, including what to expect and when tracking information should become available.
I know this project has taken a little longer than originally planned, and I truly appreciate your patience and understanding throughout the process. Your support has made it possible to bring Boba Mahjong Grande to life, and I can't wait for everyone to finally get their copies on the table.

Production Update โ Pre-Production Samples Arrived!

Hi everyone!
I have some exciting news to share. We received the pre-production samples last weekend! ๐
Overall, I'm very happy with how everything turned out. The games look great, and it's wonderful to finally hold them in my hands after months of development. There are a few minor printing issues that I'll be reviewing with the manufacturer over the next few days, but thankfully nothing appears to be major. Once those small adjustments are made, we'll be ready to move on to the next step.
I've included some photos below so you can see how everything is coming together. I hope you're as excited as I am!
A Schedule Update
Unfortunately, I also have some disappointing news.
Based on our original schedule, I had hoped that by now the games would already be in production and preparing for fulfillment. However, we've experienced several unexpected delays throughout the production process. As we worked through approvals and revisions, another Chinese holiday period arrived, which has pushed the schedule back even further.
I sincerely apologize for the delay. I know many of you have been looking forward to receiving your copies, and I always do my best to deliver as close to the estimated timeline as possible.
At this point, I believe we are approximately one to two months behind schedule. Assuming everything goes smoothly from here, I expect fulfillment to begin in time for backers to receive their rewards around October.
I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support throughout this journey. As an independent publisher, I always prefer taking a little extra time to make sure the final product is something we're all proud of, rather than rushing it out with issues that could have been avoided.
I'll continue to keep you updated as production progresses, and hopefully the next update will be the one where I can tell you that production is complete and shipments are on their way.
Thank you again for being part of Boba Mahjong Grande. I can't wait for everyone to finally get these games on the table.

Production Update โ End of May Progress

Hi everyone!
Just a quick update on where we are with Boba Mahjong Grande production.
By the end of May, we successfully finalized both the production quotation and production quantities. We have also submitted all graphic files to the factory, which is a major milestone for the project. ๐
At the moment, we are waiting to receive the pre-production graphic proofs for review and approval. This step allows us to carefully check colors, layout, text, and overall print quality before moving forward. Once those proofs are approved, the factory will prepare a final mock-up sample for our review.
After the mock-up is approved, we will be ready to move into full production.
I attempted to follow up yesterday regarding the status of the proofs, but our contact person is currently returning from the UK Games Expo. Once she is back in the office, I will follow up again and gather the latest information.
Thank you all for your patience and support throughout this process. While waiting is never the most exciting part of crowdfunding, these review stages are important to ensure the final product meets the quality standards we all want for Boba Mahjong Grande. Btw, we do have a lot of moving pieces for a small project.
